What's New - DAM and Station Exchange Software Upgrade

DAM/Source/Station Exchange Software Upgrade – What’s New

This new upgrade will have the exact same functionalities that will provide users with the same experience. However, there are few minor UI changes. Here's what's new: 

DAM Home Page

1. Widgets – click on the clog icon to add widgets
2. Click on the 3 dots to view content of the widget
3. Click on the tile to load widget content
4. Click on an empty tile to add content for the widget

DAM Asset Metadata Page

1. Click on the 3 dots to load all tabs
2. Asset preview is now on the rights side of the screen
3. Asset Metadata is now on the left side of the screen
4. Click on the 3 dots to load full menu.
5. Click edit to edit metadata

DAM Top Left navigation menu

1. Lightbox is now replaced with Collections
2. Activity and Activity modeler are now replaced by Jobs
3. Checked Out is added to the menu

DAM Search

• Search is moved to middle of the home page

DAM Upload and Top Right Navigation Menu

• Search is now replaced with Upload

Station Exchange Home Page

Station Exchange Asset Metadata Page

1. Asset preview is now on the rights side of the screen

File Transfer Accelerator QDS

Download and install the new accelerated file transfer QDS (Quick Data Synchronization Client)

1. Login to Source/DAM
2. In the Download OpenText Quick Data Synchronization Client dialog box, click Download to download the QDS client installation file.
3. To run the installation, follow the instructions in the Download OpenText Quick Data Synchronization Client dialog box.
